Q. Who is this program for? Do I need to be called to full-time ministry?

A. The Frontline Internship is both for those who are interested in pursuing a vocation in ministry as well as those who simply desire to grow as leaders and to be a light in the workplace. The program is designed to equip and assist people with all callings to grow personally in their walk with the Lord, develop as a leader, form godly character, and in the development of their theology.

Q. How long does the internship last?

A. The internship is 8 months long, beginning in September and ending in April. We have no summer internships.

Q. What does a typical week look like and how much time will I be dedicating?

A. Interns will be dedicating 20-25 hours a week. This includes serving at their appointed congregation all day Sunday, being present at Frontline Downtown on Tuesdays from 10:30am-12pm and 3pm-5pm, and generally one more day of the week that is determined between the Intern and their Ministry Director.

Q. Can I go to school/work a job while in the program?

A.Yes, many interns work jobs, are full time college students, or both!

Q. What is the cost and what does the money go towards?

A. Cost for the program is $1,000. All of this money goes directly back into you and your development – books, retreats and other materials are all covered by the $1,000. Interns are encouraged to support raise this amount and the cost of living expenses, if needed. The first $500 will be due by September 1st and the final $500 is due no later than December 1st.

Q. Is the internship paid?

A. The Internship is an unpaid Internship, however Interns are encouraged to support raise to receive up to $1,250 per month to cover their personal expenses.

Q. Can I be married as an intern?

A. Yes, single and married individuals are welcome to join the program.

Q. Are there any age restrictions?

A. An Intern must be over the age of 18. We have had interns as young as 18 and as old as that person’s parents.

Q. When is the application deadline?

A. We are currently accepting applications for the upcoming 2019-2020 internship class.
